Fall Texas wedding vibes at Four Pines Ranch in Crosby, TX
Shelby and Ryan's wedding day was perfect! It was a crisp fall day in Texas, not hot at all.. and you know in Texas, even in the fall/winter it's a toss up. I absolutely loved their rustic yet glamorous decor that really fit with the barn wedding venue. Shelby told me how important the photos were to her and she wanted a lot of photos. I worked with her over the timeline for the day and she was adamant about blocking out enough time for a lot of portraits for family and the bridal party and of course just for them. We also planned for the majority of the portraits to be in the golden hour. Everything worked out smoothly and we were able to get so many portraits. As a wedding photographer I am very portrait heavy with my weddings anyway so this was a dream wedding for me! I do also love to capture the candid moments but I feel like portraits are so important because those are the ones you are likely to hang on your walls. Shelby and Ryan are so in love, the ceremony was beautiful and the reception was fun and lively with a lot of dancing.
Shelby and Ryan treated me like a long time friend and I really enjoyed every second of working for them for their engagement, Shelby's bridal session and their wedding day. I am so happy and honored that they chose me to capture their love story.
